The Australian Jet Ski Association will be holding a new Riders training courses
The course will ideally suit newcomers to the industry who have a license and a Jet Ski but are full of questions and need some confidence to have fun in their wonderful new world of Jet Skiing.
Topics covered include the following and more;
Preparation of the Ski, your equipment, yourself and your passengers for an enjoyable day of riding.
Launching and retrieving best practices in all conditions.
Managing the Ski in wakes and rough conditions
Crossing a bar for the first time
What to do in extreme weather condition changes
How to best use your safety equipment
How to right a rolled over Jet Ski
Jet Ski towing, breakdown and sinking best practices.
When to call for help and who to call.
This is a full day consisting of theory in a classroom followed by on water training drills.
Classes are strictly limited to 8 riders only so please register your interest early to be notified when dates are set
The cost of the course will be $175 for AJSA members and $250 for non members.
Additional family members/partners may attend with a saving of $35 for each one.
All participants require a current Jet Ski licence and a Jet Ski (may be shared between two riders).
A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
